Bio
As a filmmaker, Grace has directed narrative films, branded content, and music videos for clients such as Epitaph Records, Seoul Fashion Week, and McDonald’s. Her work has screened across the USA at films festivals such as the Hamptons International Film Festival and venues such as the Museum of the Moving Image, Brooklyn Museum, Syndicated Theater, Firehouse Cinema, Stuart Cinema, and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport. Her films have been supported by the Atlanta Film Society, NYC Women’s Fund, administered by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Local Arts Fund administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council. She has held residency with the Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts and is a ViacomCBS Viewfinder Emerging Director Fellow.
As a media artist, Grace works primarily with moving image, interactive objects, and installation, with interests in technics and narration and Korean folk cosmology. She was a resident participant of the 2024 Arts Korea Lab’s ‘AI Communication’ Super Testbed supported by the Ministry of Art, Tourism, and Culture in Seoul, South Korea as well as the 2026 APE (Artists, Producers, and Engineers) Camp, hosted by ARKO (Arts Council Korea). Her project ‘Lingua AI’ was awarded Grand Prix at the AI x Art Hackathon hosted by the AI Research Center & Institute for Culture and Arts at Seoul National University. She is currently a MA candidate at the Interface Cultures program at the University of Art Linz (Kunstuniversität Linz), founded by interactive and media art pioneers Christa Sommerer and Laurent Mignonneau.
